In 2009, Ralph Begleiter received the University of Delaware, College of Arts & Sciences' "Excellence in Teaching" award.

Scott Caplan, Associate Professor, Interpersonal Communication

In May 2006, Prof. Caplan received the University of Delaware, Faculty Senate "Excellence in Teaching" award.

Lindsay Hoffman, Associate Professor, Mass Communication, Political Science & International Relations

In May 2012, Prof. Hoffman received the University of Delaware, Faculty Senate "Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising and Mentoring" Award.

Steve Mortenson, Associate Professor, Interpersonal Communication

In May 2012, Prof. Mortenson received the University of Delaware, Faculty Senate "Excellence in Teaching" award.

Lydia Timmins, Assistant Professor, Mass Communication, Broadcast Journalism & Production

In 2014, Prof. Timmins received a first place award for "faculty advising of a student media project" from the Delaware Press Association.  Also in 2014, she received a second place award for "faculty advising" from the National Federation of Press Women.

Dannagal Young, Assistant Professor, Mass Communication

In May 2014, Prof. Young received the University of Delaware, Faculty Senate "Excellence in Teaching" Award.
