Biography
Marie
is an investigator in the field of media psychology, with a special interest in
positive media effects and consumer behavior. Her primary research interests
include immersion and identification in film, video games, and social media,
with a large focus on the interaction between characters and consumers. Her
interests align with theories of narrative persuasion, which is often a focal
point of her work. Marie received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from
Arizona State University (Summa Cum Laude) and her Master degree in
Communication from University of Delaware.​
